Clinic Research Director

Dr. Cheung is the Medical Director and founder of the Long Beach Center for Clinical Research. A private owned research center established in the Bixby Knolls area. Her experience in the medical and research field go back since 1986. Dr. Cheung passion for medicine, and helping others has earned her the respect and love from her patients. Dr. Cheung in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry has collaborated in the development of many new treatments for hypertension like Lisinopril and Metformin for diabetes. Dr. Cheung provides back to the community by offering at no cost services at her center or doing local visits to Senior Center offering at no cost blood pressure checks, glucose and cholesterol testing.  In awareness to diabetes Dr. Cheung and her staff contributed to research by helping raise funds for continued diabetes research and participating in American Diabetes Association annual 2016 walk for diabetes STEP OUT. Dr. Cheung is a Clinical Professor of Medicine University of CA Irvine, Member American Society of Hypertension Diplomate, and American Board of Internal Medicine.
